Key Responsibilities
In your capacity as a Remote Prior Authorization Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in processing medication prior authorization requests. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing incoming prior authorization requests through fax and phone communications with providers, pharmacies, and medical offices.
- Assessing requests to ascertain their compliance with approval criteria, collaborating with healthcare professionals and insurance providers to address any concerns.
- Documenting all interactions accurately and ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements, including service level agreements.
- Providing clear, professional communication with patients, providers, and internal teams.

Compensation And Benefits
